1. Setup 2FA on Kraken

Login to your Kraken account.

Click on your name in the top right and choose Security. Then click on 2FA Settings.

Select the ON dial for the Sign-In feature. Then select the 2FA App option.

Download the Google Authenticator or Twilio Authy app on your mobile phone.

Open the authentication app on your mobile phone and scan the provided QR code.

Enter the numeric code that appears on your authentication app and click the Confirm button.


2. Create Kraken API keys

Click on your name in the top right and choose Security. Then click on API.

Now click on Add Key.

At Key description you enter Yieldt and at Nonce window 5000.

The following Key Permissions should be checked.
Funds:

  • Query Funds
  • Deposit Funds
  • Order & Trades:

  • Query Open Orders & Trades
  • Query Closed Orders & Trades
  • Create & Modify Orders
  • Cancel/Close Orders
  • Other:

  • Query Ledger Entries
  • Export Data
  • Access WebSockets API
  • 5

    The three options below should not be selected:

  • Key expiration
  • Query start date/time
  • Query end date/time
  • 6

    Click on Generate Key. Caution; click not yet on Save. You will need the visible keys in the next step.


    3. Connect API keys

    Return to Yieldt’s registration form.

    Paste the API Key from Kraken into the registration field of Yieldt where it says API Key.

    Paste Kraken’s Private key into Yieldt’s registration field where it says Private key. Then click on the next step.
